UPDATE: Todays Run #1424 Pura Dalam Bongkasa

Don’t forget our change of run-site for this week. The run will be at Pura Dalem Bongkasa which is a short distance away (like 10 minutes) from the originally scheduled run-site.

As any good Hasher knows, the Hash is a metaphor for life itself. Thus, every Saturday, we must leave the Lounge Room of Lethargy, pack the Hash Bag of Caution, climb aboard the Sirion of Insanity or indeed the Avanza Of Adventure and drive up the Bypass of Oblivion to the Hash Site of Uncertainty, which this week happens to be at the Pura Dalem in Bongkasa.

Once there, we will descend to the River of Risk on treacherously slippery steps, grasp the Banana Tree of Balance along a narrow path or two to ensure that we do not plummet into the Gorge of the Damned and ascend the Slippery Slope to the Penultimate Heights of Doom. As we ascend the Staircase of Exhaustion, barked at rudely by the Dogs of Indignity, we fall headfirst into the Rice Paddy of Ridicule, following the Trail of Absurdity past the Garbage Pile of Disgust until finally returning to the Beer Lorrie of Levity and the Circle of Inebriation.

Apparently there is some confusion about the next run site.  We have created not 1, not 2 but 3 variations of the run map for tomorrows run to make sure everyone knows where to go. 

The theme of the run is “May the 4th Be with you” because the date of the run is May the 4th. So feel free to dress up in your best Starwars outfits and come to Bali Hash 2 and have some fun!

First, let’s hope everyone gets a chance to vote in the elections today and may the best candidates win their respective offices.  Just as an FYI, there are over 200,000 candidates running in various national and local elections across the country with over 800,000 polling stations ready for voting.

This is a HUGE exercise in democracy in the Fourth largest country by population in the world

As an update to our run for this week on Saturday 4/20 this will be our Annual St. Georges Day Run. Saint George’s Day is the feast day of Saint George who is the patron Saint of England, Catalonia and Aragon and is technically celebrated on 23 April, the date of the saint’s death in AD 303.

This run also happens to be our Annual EASTER RUN as well which is on Sunday the 21st of April

And of course we cannot forget that our run is on April 20th the newly celebrated day of 420, 4:20 or 4/20 (pronounced four-twenty) a slang term that refers to celebrations that take place annually on April 20 (which is 4/20 in U.S. form) around the world.

So in celebration of ALL of the above celebratory milestones that are occurring this Saturday the 20th day of April 2019, there will be a drink stop and food station (if you suddenly find that you have munchies for some reason) on the run just before the On In. 

This will be a great day, we will have a great run and of course another really fun circle

UPDATE: Run #1409 Straya Day & 27th Anniversary Run

This Saturday the run and party for Australia Day and the 27th Bali Hash 2 Anniversary Run will set be at our Hare’s House in Tempaksiring.

Head North toward Tempaksiring on the main road toward Tirta Empul.  At the turn for Tirta Empul, keep going straight, past the Presidential Palace and then look for the HHH sign to turn left. Follow the signs to the run site from there. There will be a great trail with absolutely amazing views at this weeks run so make sure you come join us.

Bali Hash 2 27th Anniversary Run Fee

Members Run fee will be Rp.100.000

The Visitors run fee will be Rp.150.000

The run fee includes the run, 27th Anniversary Run T-shirt, food and free flow Bintang or soft drinks

If you don’t want a t-shirt you can pay the normal run fee … On On to Tempaksiring
