This week we will have a celebration of 30 years and the End of an Era for Mr. Borneo Bob’s Kalimantan Restaurant.  The run will be at Taman Festival in Padang Galak. Go North out of Sanur toward the By Pass and turn left at the light next to Big Garden Corner, just before Hong Kong Garden. Goo all the way to the end and you will see the run site. We will have an On On at Borneo Bob’s at the Kalimantan Restaurant on Jalan Pantai Sindu in Sanur.

Run #1439 Report

Last week’s run was amazing from our new Hare Mr. Gay Lick. Thank you and Sharon for a really great run with amazing views and great paper. You can get the video from the run here: Hidden Canyon Run Thanks to Multigrip for the great video.

Summary: 119 Runners chasing the hares Gay Lick and Sharon

Visitors: 13 pax
Drinkers: 44 pax
Non-drinkers: 48 pax
Kids: 14 pax

Total income Rp 7.315.000

Total expenditure Rp 6.238.600 – Rp 5.200.600 3 Barrels and 12 Bottles, Rp 838.000 for softies, and Rp 200.000 for parking

This week we are having a special run for Mr. Rabid Mangy Dog, who as many of you might know, has been in hospital for the past couple of weeks with some pretty serious medical problems. This weeks run, so named the RMD GET WELL SOON RUN will be set by Kenny’s cousin Simone a.k.a. Masterbaker along with her son Asstrix and the lovely Nutcracker.

There will be a T-Shirt on this run and we are asking for donations that will shore up the donations received from Bali Hash. It’s a long process but he is hanging it there. Kenny Monet, Mr. Rabid Mangy Dog, came off his bike and was rushed to the hospital, requiring surgery to ease the bleeding on his brain.

He’s been in the ICU at the local regional hospital for the last 13 days since the surgery. Currently he’s fighting pneumonia and a nasty bacterial infection on his healing journey.

There have been many people around to support Kenny, his son Arran who has come from England to be with his dad, and Simone, his cousin who also lives here in Bali.  Anyway, if you could add Kenny Monet to your prayer list, it would be much appreciated and we hope to see you on the run this Saturday.

Also we have sad news to report and our sincerest condolences to Agung Mawar (Silver Tail) on the passing of her beloved father. Sympathies also to KaDek Noeck and the boys on the loss of their Kakek. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.

And more sad news about another fallen hasher, Mr. DJ Cor aka Head First aka Cor de Brujin. We were all very shocked about his sudden passing and would like to express our condolences from our hash 2 family to the family and loved ones of Head First.

Rest In Peace we are going to miss you. it’s not fair. We Love you Bro.

Next Run Map

Last weeks run #1435 at Candi Tebing Tegallingah was a real beaut! Well set trail, good trail markings, and we even had tour guides places at strategic positions along the run. I mean how cool was that?  Thank you for another great run in paradise 69er and Pussy Delivery.

We had a great turn out too. 113 runner including the hares and kids with 13 Visitors, 47 Drinkers, 38 Non drinkers, 13 Kids chasing 2 Hares across rice paddies through rivers up and down hills and across one ancient temple. Well done Hares.

Thank you Allez Allez and Back Allez for a wonderful Bastille Day Run, food and T-shirts. Viv La France!  Everyone enjoyed the run which was very scenic with an S+ thrown in to give the sort runners an additional look at the scenery. Gunung Agung came out from behind the clouds at just the right time for everyone to get a spectacular view just before the On In.

The circle was really nice this week as we immediately started with Sinners on Ice! Well that was followed by a few more down downs, more sinners and then venerable Grand Master Mr. Nightjar himself, back in prime form leading us all in a tribute to France. This might even be a virgin hash location as well, we’ll have to check with Oxzy to be sure. Join Bali Hash House Harriers 2 every Saturday, Rain or Shine, for another great run in paradise. We have great runs and we run great circles at Bah Hash 2.

Each week venture out into the amazing countryside and trails of Bali. Join Bali Hash House Harriers 2 and spend your Saturday night away from crowded tourist destinations; get some exercise, see the lesser seen side of Bali, make new friends and drink some beer.

We encourage visiting hash members from other kennels all over the world to join our hash on Saturdays. You’ll find our hash is interesting, fun and lively and we’re always open for a song or two from visitors.

For first time runners of a Hash Bali Hash House Harriers 2 is a great way to get into the spirit of the runs. You will find we are very welcoming to new runners and people will go out of their way to assist and give guidance to “Virgins”.
