Next Run Map

Last week at Nusda Penida everyone had a great Merdeka run and we also wished HM Muddy Man a very Happy Birthday.  The run itself was lovely with the start going uphill and soon there was an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding area. The trail was very well marked, no one got lost and everyone made it back for the party.  And what a party it was too. Music, food, lot’s of beer, good friends and good times. A few hashers even managed to make it to the run site on their own since the SEMAYA ONE fast boat was fully sold out.

This week Minipom takes us to the football stadium at Mengwi. This is a great run location and we know this will be another great run with Bali Hash House Harriers 2!

Bali Hash House Harriers 2

Next Run Map

Last week at Bukit Jati was a fine run. The weather was a bit overcast but the rain held off for a lovely run up towards the North, then looping West across the main road. The split gace the long runners the option to do some up and down running past a lovely waterfall. The entire valley was very beautiful as we continued South to find the Long and Short coming together again before heading a bit further South and then East for the On In.

We had a great circle that was lively and fresh. We initiated a few virgins and welcomed back the returners, including Mr Victor “Nightjar” Mason who had been ship wrecked for quite some time on some remote island to the immediate East of Bali. Having taken care of the Official business, our venerable RA proceeded with the sinners and ensured that they were doing some down downs and being shriven for their hashly behaviour. The circle continued until the beer was about finished at which point social drinking opened until we all ajourned on our way to various points afar.

This week takes us to a location that we don’t use very often so it will have some different and interesting trails for us to follow. Ms. Spank My Monkey has some sort of unknown age related celebration coming up of which we are not supposed to allude to under penalty of ICE! Some come join us for another great run in Paradise with Bali Hash House Harriers 2.

Last weeks run at Singapadu was an excellent run. Many hashers commented that it was “just right” with the split for the Long and Short just behind the Bali Zoo. We had a lively circle after the run with some complementary nasi kuning, which was a welcome treat after the hot run.

This week we have a very special run. A Joint Run with the Colla Hash House Harriers at the Wantilan behind the Sangeh Momkey Forest.  We have teamed up with Colla to set a magnificent run in a really beautiful location next the river. Just watch out for those little rascal monkeys as they just might steal your car keys if you give them a chance! On On ….

Bali Hash House Harriers 2

Next Run Map

Last week at Goa Gajah Team America set a great run that was familiar to a few and amazing to our new comers and virgins. The run was about 5km for the short and 11 for the long after which everyone tuckked into some American style food ala Hot Dogs and French Fries, which despite the name are very American.  A big thanks to all of our sponsors for the food and to Muddy Girl for her help in organizing the cooking and serving.  The circle was excellent and we had some returners and some virgins to start with.  Everyone enjoyed the afternoon.

This week Bali Hash House Harriers 2 will be celebrating Bastille Day with our French friends at Tenganan Pegeringsingan which is just a few kilometers North of Candidasa.  The run features 2 trails, a long and a short, authentic French food, Bastille day t-shirt and free slow beer and soft drinks.  This will be an amazing run set by our Hare Raiser Allez Allez. So come join us for a Saturday that you won’t soon forget with Bali Hash House Harriers 2! On On to Tenganan Pegeringsingan.

The run site is about 45 km from the big intersection between Sanur and Denpasar. Follow the bypass to Candidasaand turn left when you see the sign for Tenganan. The run site should be about 3 or 3.5 KM up the road. Look for the BHHH2 signs posted along the way. In addition, there are two villages at Tenganan. The Bali Hash 2 run site is Tenganan Pegeringsingan.

Harap dicatat: Situs ini berjarak sekitar 45 km dari persimpangan besar antara Sanur dan Denpasar. Ikuti jalan pintas ke Candidasa dan belok kiri ketika Anda melihat tanda untuk Tenganan. Situs yang dijalankan harus sekitar 3 atau 3,5 KM di atas jalan. Cari tanda-tanda BHHH2 yang dipasang di sepanjang jalan. Selain itu, ada dua desa di Tenganan. Situs lari Bali Hash 2 adalah Tenganan Pegeringsingan.

Each week we run through the amazing countryside and trails of Bali. Join Bali Hash House Harriers 2 and spend Saturday night away from crowded tourist destinations; get some exercise, see the lesser seen side of Bali, make new friends and drink some beer.

We encourage visiting hash members from other kennels all over the world to join our hash on Saturday. You’ll find our hash is interesting, fun and lively and we’re always open for a song or two from visitors.
